Your photographs are private.
Why your files are uploaded
Your photographs are uploaded so they can be analysed, sequenced, animated and rendered into your film. There is no way to produce a film without them leaving your device.
How AI processes them
Reduced-size copies of your photographs are sent to Google's Gemini models for analysis — scene type, composition, quality, emotional tone and suitability for movement. Selected photographs may be sent to Google's Veo model to create short motion clips. Your written answers are used to brief the song-writing and lyric generation. We do not attempt to identify people from their faces; names come only from what you tell us.
Where files are stored
All uploads, derivatives, generated audio, motion clips and finished films are stored in private, access-controlled storage. No personal media is placed in public buckets, and access is authorised on the server for every request.
How long files remain
Finished films are hosted temporarily — 7 days by default. We warn you 24 hours and 6 hours before expiry where we have your email. On expiry, the rendered film, temporary derivatives, motion clips, generated music and render-only assets are permanently deleted by a scheduled job. Original uploads follow the same project retention unless you delete them sooner.
Sharing
Share links use a cryptographically random token, never a sequential id. They carry their own expiry, which can never outlive the underlying media. Share pages are marked noindex, nofollow and are rate limited. You can disable or regenerate a link at any time.
Your rights and control
You can delete your project and all of its media immediately from your project page. We never use your photographs or films as public examples unless you explicitly opt in.
Payments
Card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card information.
Analytics
We record privacy-conscious product events — such as a project being started or a download being clicked. Photograph contents and personal story text are never sent to analytics.
